Mazui needs a new set of Editors. Railgun releases were shit, some of the mistakes even a 12 year old would note. Becoming more and more of a fan the longer UTW sticks around, their quality just seems to improve at a higher rate than most. Trollguys? Oh you mean Coalguys. I am not im
partial nor partial to Coalguys' releases, from my point of view they release quality material quickly, which is more than you can say for most other groups. However, I have not noted anything outstanding either. Probably because I don't watch K-On!

I picked up R.U.S.E (Ruse Using Strategic Environment) recently and am loving it. It's gameplay is new and refreshing, featuring World War II era combat. The maps it uses are quite large, about the size of a battlefield, and the zooming in and out functions are well done and very aesthetic.

Some of the main strategic features include the realistic usage of cover. You can hide inside of a city, and, until the city is shelled to oblivion not be hit by tanks or short and medium ranged artillery. A 360 degree circle is shown depicting the units firing capabilities, if another unit is behind cover or in the forest, it will either have minimal chance or no chance to hit it's target. Interestingly, you can shell a forest with artillery or bomb/carpet bomb it to reveal/elminate hidden troops because the trees burn to the ground (As they would they would in real combat.) Unless you can see the enemy, or have a R.U.S.E Card in play that allows you to see the enemy, they are considered unidentified units, however; it will still show you the class of each unit [size=4]----[/h] Light Infantry, Medium Tanks, Airplane, Fighter Bomber, B-52 etc. Late World War II and prototype units are also available, which tend to be very powerful.


The main feature of R.U.S.E is the ability to acquire and use "R.U.S.E Cards", which are playable on any set region (Just a section of the map really.). With these R.U.S.E Cards, you can do things like hide your troops from the enemy, see the enemies order, identify enemy units or reverse the shown roles of Tanks and Infantry (Infantry show up as tanks, Tanks show up as infantry.). There are more than I'd care to explain, but I'm sure you get the idea.

It's one of the better RTS games in such a pitiful market.
