Greetings...*devilish smirk*

First and foremost, I'd like to say greetings to all you fellow "Fakku"ers/ites/etc. I present you all with an offering of cookies, in hopes that...*ahem*, yes, if you're wondering, I did make those.
That being said, time for a mini-rant! (Sorta.)
So, I've known and been visiting this site since 2006, which I believe was when this site began (pardon me if I'm wrong, my memory has faded); twas' a small site back then...
Interestingly enough, the reason I managed to discover this site was because I was running on a sugar-high after eating an entire breakfast buffet's worth of pastries I had made in culinary school (12 weeks of pastries and desserts straight; not exactly healthy, mind you) at 2 in the morning. Thank you 4chan for pointing me in this direction...
If you haven't guessed, cooking is my passion. Video games are my biggest hobby, and I also have interests in martial arts, dance (all types, but especially Ballroom dancing), and music (anything and everything under the sun, to be honest). Of course, there's the usual hanging out with friends, wreaking havoc on unsuspecting victims...but *everyone* does that...
I digress, anyhow, I've been lurking and leeching since (*cue devilish grin*), but here I am now, making my debut. Looking forward to being on the forums with you all, and hopefully, I'll be able to make my own contributions to the community as well. Ja ne!

Ooh, and I just love pastries. Where were you when I was slaving over the stove making choux or rubbing-in fat?
It would be awesome if you lived in Singapore. We could have been cooking hentai buddies.
Anyways- Hiya and welcome to Fakku! Please enjoy your stay.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome.
CreampieHoney - Heh, always nice to find people who share the same interest. Cooking hentai buddies FTW! And I'll admit, one of my favorite things to make are pastries and such (I've made so many variations of Cheesecake it makes me sick).
Tis' a shame though; born and raised in the Philippines, currently living in the US, in SoCal.

Ah, yes. It is a pity. I would have loved to sample your handiwork. I'll never tire of cheesecake. Mmm, seems like its been ages since I've had a light ricotta cheesecake with soft bits of pear, drizzled with a little caramel sauce and white chocolate curls. Geez, it's been too long since I played house. And having a sugar rush is FOC. Gonna miss it, starting again on my regime of dieting and exercise. So enjoy Fakku and seeya when I see you.

Yes, another chef. And a pastry chef to top that off. I always admired pastry chefs because they do things that i can't, or rather, have no talent in. And they get up damn early in the morning, too.
I have no degree from a culinary institute, but i know my passion is real.
I love cooking so much i'm thinking of abandoning my current Pharmacy classes and just go learn how to cook properly in one of those Kaiseki culinary schools that is in abundance here in Japan.
FYI, One of our admins, Nikon, is a chef, too.
I'm hoping that we can get along nicely and looking forward to have some chef-to-chef chat in the future.
And of course, Welcome.

Heh, is it just me, or are there quite a few chefs/cooks who have a penchant for hentai?
CreampieHoney - That cheesecake sounds lovely. Although, if you've ever tried a cheesecake with mascarpone cheese as an ingredient, I've got two words: rich and decadent. That seems to be my current thing with cheesecakes ATM. Heh, and as strange as this may sound, I don't usually eat what I make. I subject my family and friends to my cooking (not that they mind :P). Nonetheless, I'll be seeing you around the boards, I'm sure.
mnx - Heh, chef never have time to sleep. I know I don't. If I'm not at work, I'm at home in the kitchen. Can't count how many times I've fallen asleep on my cooking notebooks...
And yes, cooking is a passion. I can't agree any more with you on that. Interestingly enough, I was slated to go into the medical field as a career before cooking intervened. Haven't looked back since. That being said, I look forward to sharing my cooking experiences with you and the rest of the community.
