I think you'll have to make 100-300 posts.. by that time you'll probably become noticed. You might wanna get an avatar as well.
I, myself, tend to overlook those who don't use avatars (aside from lil'von), those with zero rep, or those with -100 posts.
In my opinion you'll stand out if you have any or more than one of the following:
-an unique avatar
-A title (elite/elder)
-A triple digit+ post count
-over 1 rep.. or -rep. Zero rep doesn't mean much to me.
