Howdy!

How goes it, Fakku?
Seeing as I'm new, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself.
I was introduced to anime by my friends and cousins; we'd all go to each others houses and try to keep up with Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z after school. That lasted for a couple years, until watching the Cell Games was a memory.
What really got me into everything, though, was Cowboy Bebop; and to a lesser extent, Trigun. Staying up until 3am somtimes, trying to catch up on those shows on [Adult Swim] is where I place my fondest memories of anime. The whole bounty hunter in space thing had me from Tank!, up until Blue in the last session.
That's pretty much the history, and since then I've floated from show to show, just looking for something good.
Other than watching movies and anything on my screen, really, I like to get out when I can and hike in my back yard. I live in arguably the most beautiful State in the Union. From biking, to snowboarding, boating, fishing and hunting, I've done most of it. Most days now, I just get out with friends and skateboard, enjoy the city and country. Working and job hunting also factor in kind of big. Since I've also dropped out of college the last five years, I've given up until I find out I want more out of life, like settling down and rearing children in my likeness.
I was introduced to this forum by a friend, theotaku. I've known him since high school, and we share some similar interests in different aspects of life. But mostly, we differ in opinion on most of the topics that come our way. Anywho, he's one of the main guys I go to when looking for something new and interesting to watch or learn about, and he showed me here.
Well, I don't think I want to keep you here all day reading a wall of text (I think it's already too long), so I'll cut it short! If you've got any questions or comments, I guess feel free to leave them here or PM me. Oh, and I bite to break skin  . Peace!

Ahh yes, cowboy bebop was also one of my earlier animes, used to watch it with my anime club. Good stuff back then, and I can't agree more that Trigun was alot of fun. I always thought that the character of Vash was alot like Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin), since they both had a similiar view on life. Not sure why I brought that up, maybe I just think you might enjoy that show if you haven't already.
That said, you should find this place to be a decent diversion from the day-to-day humdrum we all deal with. There are some good people here, you clearly already know one of them. So Welcome, and have a good time.

I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a troll; I don't like them either. But I can be some what subversive, so I hope that doesn't put you off of me too much! I can get quite arguementive when I'm on a roll, but in my opinion, the key is to never take it too seriously: everyone is going to have their own stance on issues; and when I do argue, it is seldom from the position of my own train of thought. I do this so I can see an issue in a new light, and it helps myself a lot to keep an open mind. It's just my way of doing things, and I hope not to offend too many people while doing it.
Or, as my cousin says it; "Pew pew, no Q Q!"

No, I've never wakeboarded, although I was given the chance to when I was younger. I didn't feel like coming home in a helicopter, so I declined. If I ever have the time, though, I'm going to hit up my cousins who used to wakeboard and see if they have pointers. What do you like skating most? I'm a rail guy, and after that, I like vert, then just gapping stair sets; although I'm just a weekend warrior type of skater. As for snowboarding, I like rails there also :/. Hahaha, just riding is probably the thing I hold closest to me though, because there used to be a group of us about 10 strong, and we'd skate the city when ever it was dry.
Haha, nice to be here, and thanks again for the welcome ^_^

Visit the rest of the forums noob! >_>
I'm lurking still, and have made one post outside of this thread so far. I'm just rooting around, finding what interests me here
I like the Travel, Dreams, and Paranormal areas so far. I couldn't find threads for either Bebop or Air Gear yet, but I just perused the master lists, and I'll try to start a topic later if no one has. I'm about to head to the Uni, then on to downtown for a little night romp on the curbs and sidewalks while olliing gutters and man holes. Maybe drop a few stair sets.

on a skateboard, i love to
a) ride. i love just skating. no tricks. just riding.
b) vert. i love pipes. not tricking. just riding them.
c) doing laserflips and nightmareflips. they're awesome.
on a snowboard, i love to
1) speed. i love to go as fast as i can for as long as i can. i race a lot of people and win.
2) ride. once again, just riding. weaving in a out of people is a hobby that i love.
3) trick. i was in colorado and i did two superpipes. i did a mctwist and some other shit.
4) jump. i love just hitting jumps and going as high as i can. feels amazing. like no other feeling.
