I still disagree. The things that make people vomit, maybe interesting. But vomit itself... what is there to say? texture, color, how to tell if that was blood or just hot sauce?
I just don't think people give a lot of thought to those sorts of things. At least not people who aren't in a very small cell.

though I hear that a lot, I keep on saying that they aren't a band that you listen to in the traditional sense. if you listen to them as a whole you are going to hate them... but tackle it from a musician's point of view pick apart the song, and listen to it's individual parts, and you will love them.

No, I will not. They still annoy me. I'm not saying the music is unskilled, I'm just saying their lyrics are bothersome and representative of a particular kind of person that bothers me. The kind of person who reads Fear and Loathing in Las Vagas but ignores the last chapter and still praises it, as though it legitimises their own hopeless and useless lives. Those people suck.

my old art teacher in grade school once told me that sometimes it's not art until it disturbs the masses. besides as a musician I'm envious of them, that they can write songs like that and publish them without any hesitations.

Not disturbed, annoyed. It's not like they are summoning demons with their words, they are lyrics. Harmless, really. And, assumably, with no more hesitation than it took Alice Cooper to be a freak in front of thousands of people. But if it does disturb "the masses," then good. People should never be too comfertable with the world around them.
