By putting more effort into posts and being active, maybe it'll be easier to read what you're typing and people will become more interested in you and what you have to say. Otherwise you may just seem like the other new users who post a few times, display bad english skills, and who later vanish. Also, I recommend getting an avatar. That'll help you stand out even more than the 100s/1000s of users without avatars.
