Hey all, I've lurked around here for sometime and have thought about signing up for awhile, so here I am.
I consider myself to be quite shy, and usually quite anxious when talking to new people, but once I get to know someone, usually that anxiety goes away and I actually do become a quite talkative person.
I wouldn't exactly call myself an excellent artist, but i have quite a knack in the area, considering I self taught myself from 11 (and now I actually regret not taking art classes at school). Over the years I have developed some bad habits over the years (such as erasing too much and or hard, using a blunt pencil and many others), which I am trying to break, but with no avail so far. But I am a perfectionist when it comes to drawing and usually I would not stop working on a drawing until I have finished it to a standard which I feel good with. (only if I could draw a background now >_<)
I could go on and on about my favorite music and foods, but then if I do, I may run out of things to post (that are somewhat interesting that is), but my first impression of this forum shows a group of people who seem to be a great bunch, and I look forward to talking to some of you in the near future.

I can relate to you quite an awful lot.I'm like you when it comes to talking to others but there are some people i feel open about being myself when i begin to know them.But then again this is an open forum so you can conceal your shyness rather well i think so no worries!
Also the way you feel about art too i can relate in may ways...
