Umm, I don't exactly have a favorite artist. Hee hee, I like modern day surreal art. (Anime/Manga style) I do like some of the realistic surreal art. Im not that good at surrealism yet. Due to my lack of proportions and shading :[

Ah I see, So I take it you are a fan of studio 4C's works? Anyway just keep drawing and if you can try to do some still life pictures and perhaps a figure drawing class. That will help you get a hang of proportions and identifying light sources. After all, you have to get the essentials down before you can make them all weird.

you may also want to be careful about the sections where you create threads to put them where you think it's most appropriate, sometimes they end up in the completely wrong place it's a bit troubling since the rules don't necessarily explain that.And also check the stickies in each sub-forum for more about the individual posting section
