There is a difference between claiming something as your own work and giving credit to the original author. One is plagiarism, the other is simply tracing.
I had to bring this issue back up. First of all, tracing is the same as copying is the same as stealing. One should always give credit when credit is due.
Let me use an analogy.
I use someone else's essay. I didn't copy it, I just rewrote it word for word. Is that not the same thing as tracing? However, we call this plagiarism. It is looked down upon. That's why when you quote from sources, you cite them giving credit where it should be due. Many artists are inspired by poses other's have drawn. They credit the artist for their inspiration. Yama's lack to do so shows no professionalism.
There's a limit to how much you can defend a person.
Not to mention, not once have I seen Yama actually credit the original artist. I have not seen any mention of an artist anywhere on the piece of art or on his posts.
