Most girls I know don't admit they watch porn or hentai, but the ones who do 75% (9/12) prefer hentai.
In case your wondering the guys that I've asked is only around 10% (don't remember actual number).

And at least I dont really get exited just by watching some random sex scene unless its really REALLY good one.

This, plus hentai usually isn't fake, overdone and boring, like most porn is. I do enjoy an amateur porn video now and then, but I largely prefer hentai.
A lot of the girls club members also prefer hentai for the same reasons, I think. You could say that hentai is milder on the eyes than hardcore porn, but that's not true.
I think the biggest difference between girls and guys are that guys care more about how everything looks and sounds rather than caring about getting into the story and romance and feel the intimacy. Because I'm a fan of the latter. Of course that isn't true for everyone.

I definitely prefer hentai, real porn is very.. trashy? Plus it's hard to compare yourself to a drawing. There's also the factor of the men.. Men in real porn are usually really gross.

However, considering that hentai is geared more towards a male demographic, I'd say most girls prefer real porn if they even watch that at all.

Even tho i cant speak for all the girls in the world, but I'd say that if a girl likes anime, its very likely that she likes hentai (or yaoi/yuri/ecchi) at least as much as she likes porn. And girls who dont like to watch anime are very unlikely to like hentai.

Honestly, I don't mind either (I'm female btw) but I overall prefer Hentai because, depending on what you read or watch, it is generally cuter and prettier and has more plot (only some)

It doesnt really make you shallow. I think its only normal that you want to see attractive people in porn. It would be really hard to get horny by watching ugly people having sex. And thats why I dont like porn that much, the men in porn arent attractive imo, so I dont really get turned on by watching them have sex.
And I dont like hentai with old fat men either. No matter how cute the girl is, if the man is wrinkly old guy who is 5 times wider than the girl, no thanks :/ I dont have anything against chubby or a little bit fat guys, but even I have some standards.

I personaly like hentai better, porn can be a bit a bit crude at times. Besides hentai tends to have more story and cute characters the downside is that for the most part it's not very well animated which for me can be a turn off.
