Do you wish to become a manga artist?

Yes, that was my original intention I have characters and story in the progress maybe in a near future.

Do you wish to improve on your skills?

Of course I think anyone thats an artist always strive to improve.

Are you an expert or a beginner?

Neither. I consider myself an intermediate? Not really sure, nah.

Do you use manga references to copy a specific pose and use it on yours?

Yes, I like to use my wooden mannequin pose thingy and Posemaniacs.com (you should check it out yourself) Very good pose website ^_^

I have a small artblog I update every now and then. http://digitalskiesart.wordpress.com

No, I don't. I never wanted to be a manga artist, nor to improve my drawing skill.
I'm satisfied with just reading them.

Do you wish to become a manga artist?
Yes! But I hate planning the panels.

Do you wish to improve on your skills?
Yes! ...I say that every time, but I don't really practice much. I wish there was some fruit like in OP that could increase my skillz huehuehuehue.

Are you an expert or a beginner?
Yes! Oh, uh, I mean, I guess beginner~intermediate. Been drawing for 8?(not gonna count those years that I scribbled around my first anime, SailorMoon) years on and off. I've gotten some useful lessons on the form of the body and how to draw; before that I was just a noob. At least I can properly draw human figures without making them look like a 5 year old drew them.

Do you use manga references to copy a specific pose and use it on yours?
Yes. I usually think of the poses and plan them out with stick man figures before I actually look for reference (eg: dat ass, the fold of skin and muscles).

It is an extremely important thing to look for reference also. With reference, you'll improve greatly. I made the mistake of making imaginary figures and poses and shading without references(well because I was really lazy), and I realized that I was only making a little improvement compared to those who used references in the first place. I wholly support references if you don't copy them a hundred percent and claim it as yours.

My answers to questions
  • No i dont want to become one

  • I would like to improve my skills

  • COMPLETE NOOB

  • Havent tried it yet

Im slowly getting the arms, body and face right. Well, but even that is a lot of work. Funny though, i can draw schematics easly and finish way ahead of my classmates in technical drawing.

I tried to use my technical drawing skills to make an anime pic. Results were catastrophic...
