Try fapping. It works all the time.

Seriously, I'd try excercising. Excercising tends to work the stress and pressure away since all you think about during your work out is the physical pain, then you get tired, then you sleep and the next day don't seem too bad. Try talking to your friends or hang out with them. Do something is better than sitting at home moping all day long.

That's funny, I just got back from helping my cousin get over her recent break-up. We just went shopping at our local mall, got ourselves some bubble tea, and went to our other cousin's house, jammed on rock band and chilled out playing games together.

You just need to get into that one person in your life that you think would drop everything for you right then and there, and you two need to chill. You don't even have to do anything, just call up that one person, he or she will know what to do to help yeah, I can't really give you any advice, because the best person you can get help from is that one person. If that person isn't near, just call them at least, don't make any excuses to not contact this person, just having some presence with that person will you make you feel better.

You need to think,"Who is the one person I want to be with after this happened to me?", and you need to help them help you.

I apologize if it sounds like I'm trying to sound cool and intelligent by giving you this half-assed answer by telling you to get help from someone else. However, the BEST thing you can do is to talk to that one person.

When my boyfriend broke up with me, the first thing my friend did was take me to a porn shop to get something to 'make me never miss him again'

But on my own, I just worked a lot of hours and kept myself busy. Idle time is when you start to let your thoughts wander and you get yourself worked up, or anything else that can cause problems.

Time heals everything ;p

I'd say that distraction is a good way of forgetting i usually go out on shopping sprees make a day of it go see friends and just try to think of anything but the subject that is troubling you

i also like to escape my problems by getting away from them wether it by watching a fuck load of anime playing a fuck load of games or just going for long walks i regularly walk between my mum and dads houses [about 20 miles apart] with my music on it gives me tme to think and honestly i feel so much more relaxed after it and a little bit tired ^_^ so after a hot shower you can just collapse on your bed and read a book or watch tv or chat online just something you like doing i find these things really help well atleast they help me hope atleast something i said can be of use to you and i hope you feel better soon love

I too broke up with my BF not long ago, but he was an ass so that just felt kinda good, and of course... as being me, I got over it two days later -.- call me a coldhearted jerk or whatever, but that's me (depending on the situation of course). But I guess he really meant something to you? Just be positive, there's probably lots of better guys out there waiting to comfort you.

i could sympathise with that i dont know how you could have lasting emotions for someone who was a asshole and didn't treat you with the love and respect you deserve

well you know i could never call you cold hearted or anything of the like

and I'd say try to make new potential bf's out of friends or people you know try starting again that might help? i can't say i know having never had a real relationship before but that is something that i would consider in your position

The time I broke up with my girlfriend, I went and spent all days with my friends in the downtown. We just did simple stuff like going to the arcade, watching a movie, and killing time like nothing.

Good trip too. Made me realized I didn't really needed her when I had good friends like them. Even if you're the one who proposed the break-up, it's still very depressing.

Spending time with close friends to take your mind off things and working out are GREAT things to do those really work.
Working out works best for me.
Also getting rid of some of the stuff he gave you or putting it aside in a box for later rememberance would be a good thing to do so you don't always remember him every time you look around your room :P.

Anyways love;

What the heart has once owned and had, it shall never lose.

Love is like war: easy to begin but hard to end.

Two ways, either pack your schedule full of things so you do not have time to think about anything, or find a place in which you can "soul search" so to speak and rid all memories of him from your mind.

DUDE! Seriously! Check the date of the OP! She hasn't even been on Fakku since 2009! Stop with the advice already; I've asked the thread to be locked before more people come in.
