I'm not an artist, but I drew one.

I didn't write a fanfic or post a pathetic youtube video. But I love Rin Tezuka from Katawa Shoujo so I drew her even though this is more or less the first time I've touched a pencil with the intention of using it for purposes other than making words.

It truely saddens me that Rin is a fictional character. Drawing her makes her feel more real to me. I tried to make her more realistic, less anime.

I don't think I will get much better. Maybe I would if I practiced more, but my problem is I never know what to draw, so that's why I don't do it often.

Your a guy right? How bout drawing some armor as a starting point. Or if you like cute things draw pokemon? I unno.

Feels like an excuse to draw something; I have to feel like it's something that needs to be drawn.

Might give it a shot though, with the armor. The armor in Mass Effect is cool.
(Haven't been into pokemon since I was little.)

Edit: I'm working on it. Had to surf around google images for a skeleton. It's cheaper than taking anatomy. Hopefully using a skeleton model'll help me get all the shapes shapely in the right places.

Badass armors!

I'm going for something tight-fighting like mass effect armor; mass effect armor looks like something you can move around in, yet strong. The armor you like seems something more for a brute-type character. The person inside my armor is a woman, so it shouldn't be something huge like that.

I was (and still can) going to add plant-type designs to her armor but I got tired but I did at least come up with the idea to put names of Shinto gods on there.

Take a look again later when I add to it, okay?
When it comes to creativity, I'm way better at problem solving than art, so this is pretty tricky for me.

Added a better grey-scale and some battle scars. Not sure what else I can do.

I don't draw at all but you should keep trying. Make some badass armors for both sex. :)

I feel weird copying, but I suppose it's what you have to do before you get good enough to draw without a reference.
I appreciate your encouragement, so I'll give try drawing this one; I'll try to change it up a bit somehow though.
