Actually, there are seven cotinents, Africa, Asia, America (NOT US, THAT IS NOT AMERICA, just US), Oceania (Australia is the country, but not the continent´s name), Artic, Antartic, and Europe.

And America is divided in: North, Central, South, and Caribean. If you are going to specify, do it well, otherwise, generalize in the way I did.
