What format would you prefer to download FAKKU Books in?

Some of you have been asking about what kind of formats digital FAKKU Books will be available in, so we decided to make a poll about it. Most of us in the staff prefer just regular ol' images in zip files, but we could naturally provide other options too if there's enough interest for them. If you have anything specific in mind, now's the time to make your voice heard. You can also use this thread to ask general questions about the digital releases, like what image formats will be use, what kind of resolution options would you like to have and so on and so forth. To those voting Other: Please elaborate on your preference in a comment! Otherwise we'll have no idea what kind of download options you'd like to see.

You're absolutely right, and we intend to expand the available formats as soon as we sort out how to generate them all in an efficient manner (authoring a book in dozens of formats by hand would obviously get really tiresome really quick).

Wow. Well, that's something you can look forward to FAKKU not doing with the digital downloads for legit customers.

ZIP/CBZ for me.

PDF is a very poor choice anyway. FAKKU should offer epub instead. A big disadvantage with PDF is poor scaling.

i personally use rar but that's just my preference. cbz/zip work fine as well.

CBR/CBZ are perfect for desktops as well as tablets and (the correct) ebook readers. Obviously, I am not referring to Kindle or JetBook, but to Kobo and Onyx-Boox.

Bitmap images (which the actual source images FAKKU gets also are) aren't going to magically turn into vectors inside PDFs. No matter what formats we end up offering, they're all essentially going to have the same kind of bitmap images inside each of them.

You realize I specifically stated anything that was already vectors right "everything put in there designed as vectors"

I would prefer the ePub format. I want something that iTunes can tag well. The pdfs, while viewable with a pdf reader, aren't really tag-friendly.
