Can't you guys get sued for...

Having a My little Pony doujin behind subscription? I absoutely do not want you guys to get sued. Contrary to popular belief, labelling something as a parody does not automatically make it a parody and with a company as big as hasbro, you guys would be absolutely DESTROYED in court if hasbro decided that "my little pony porn" being sold to thousands of people is a bad thing.

Considering Hasbro is one of the most protective of it's I.P, I'm kinda bothered too.

Didn't know MLP has such voluptuous tits and human ass. There are a couple of laws such as the Fair Use law (I'm not proficient on the law, I just know a little through college and other things) where parodies are protected from being sued. Any parodies up on here are directly from the artists and doujinshi is a grey zone that if changed to a certain degree is allowed to be up. Besides that the content on here is 18+ and you are not paying specifically for the work just to see the content. This is such a insignificant portion of the content released that legally this should be acceptable. There are many sites that have parody based doujinshi in the western world and even ask on places such as Paetron for cash to further the "creative process" instead of saying to further the parody. Not everything can and will be sued.

Only thing that could possibly be changed is having the parody name listed, otherwise should be just fine.

Actually scratch that. Its not just My little pony stuff but having the works of the western artist, Doxy in general on this website. A lot of his works are fan made and it's behind a paid-subscription. We're talking about parodies of League of legend, Adventure time, and MLP. Could Fakku not get into huge trouble because of this?

Also, why the hell is it behind a subscription? They're all free to read on Doxy's website. Why aren't you guys uploading it to be read for free?

Still, from what I'm aware, as others have said, he (and fakku) should be covered in the regards to parody work. Jacob would have talked to doxy about it before, and they would have made sure to keep off the radar. Jacob does seem to be pretty well versed on what he's doing

Major porn companies have been producing adult porn parodies of major movies since the 70's (Star Wars: XXX, Schindler's Fist, Shaving Ryan's Privates, The Land Before Rape Laws, Lawrence of Orgasmia, Journey to the Center of the Uterus, Pan's Labia, V for Vagina, Babe 2: Pig in my Anus). They are considered parody which is explicitly granted fair use protection. However, what exactly constitutes parody is really fuzzy and no court has ever ruled to define porn as parody. So yes FAKKU can be sued and possibly lose. The specifics are complicated, but it's a similar situation with drawn underage/rape porn and obscenity laws where ultimately it's up to the judge's whims on a case by case basis to determine the literary meaning and aesthetics of art.
