Got called in Jury Duty for first time ever

Judge asks if anybody would have any undue hardships due to jury duty.

"My college classes start next week."

Are you fucking kidding me.

On another note. I got them to read out a pun in the middle of a courtroom that was selecting jury for a murder case.

"You know whiteboards? They're remarkable."

Fuck yeah.

I haven't got one in years. Not like I can serve now.

I got summoned for the first time last year. Fortunately wasn't selected. But yeah, people will try and use whatever they can to try and get out of duty. When I went, they called like 26 people up since so many were pardoned from jury duty for whatever reason (we didn't get to hear their reason since they got to approach the judge and make their case).

I skipped that shit like the plague. The only time I'm grateful i got a mental illness.
