I just finished Tiamat's Wrath, the eighth book in The Expanse series. It was good.

I've heard good things about that series, a friend from work is constantly reading books on break and mentioned it.

I suddenly remembered that this place exists, so that helps since i want to talk about books.
Some months ago i bought a H.P Lovecraft collection, but i'm struggling to get through it since he doesn't exactly write in the most exciting or interesting way.

So to allieviate the boredom i picked up The Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi. And this book is a lot more interesting and fun to read. So i hope enjoy the rest of it.

Btw where do you guys usually read books? At home, on the way to work etc?

Never heard of John Scalzi so I will have to look

It's my first time reading anything by him. My colleague recommending him a lot and he seems to be right so far.
When it comes to H.P Lovecraft it isn't that i dislike the genre, since i love the unknown, horror etc. It's just that i find his writing to be boring.
