If you want less people to pirate

Make the content to you host cheaper. 13 a month for a small selection of uncencored content is too much to ask.

To be honest once you use the site for a while it's really hard to go back to the pirated sites, where there's so much junk, bad censorship, and low-res uploads. It's a no-brainer for me, considering I'm always willing to let Netflix take my 15 bucks even on months where I only watch Hulu, for example.

Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ all have the same issue. Too expensive for what they are offering. Don't pay for those either.

It's cheap enough. Wouldn't call it a small selection either, especially seeing how much of a backlog I still have left to read despite being a subscriber since beta...

It could be a dollar and people would pirate. 13 a month for 3 chapters a day which is 30ish a month isn't that bad. 7000 chs currently

My problem isn't so much the price as it is the site's poorly implemented tagging and search system. In addition to lacking gendered tags, Fakku also just has significantly fewer content-related tags, plus it restricts the searchability of controversial tags whether you've enabled them or not.

Supporting the artists and uncensored content are just about the only thing Fakku has going for it, IMHO

You’re right, it stinks that the pirated sites are far better at helping people find things they like.

In all honesty, ditto. The tagging system is a joke and my personal - quirks - are also highly unrepresented here (especially in the "unlimited").

I dont agree. I feel like 13 a month isnt a bad price to support content that, unfortunately in this day and age, is getting more and more oppressed by main stream media. Im not talking about anime or manga, I mean pornographic content in general. Pay to keep them alive.

I mean both of those are pretty big though. Especially the Uncensored Content, as that was almost entirely non-existent aside from incredibly rare 3rd party redraws prior to Fakku and other International players entering the Marketplace. Additionally, with the upsurge in digitally created content there's also been a rise in Pixeldick which is a lot more unpleasant than the oldschool "black bars".

The price is a total straw man. Some people just feel entitled to other's work, whether it is manga, or music, or movies. There are always justifications for it, but in reality, people would still be using Napster and iTunes would be a ghost town if it weren't for the DMCA and legal actions against pirate sites.

There is no price beyond free that would satisfy most pirates. If you decide not to purchase content, that is your choice... but it doesn't give you a right to that content.
