Which FAKKU! Books are safe to ship to Australia?

0
I'm interested in getting a copy of each of the FAKKU! Books but I am aware that loli/pettanko may not get through Australian customs. As I can't really scan through them to see which are appropriate and which may be problematic, I was wondering if a FAKKU! rep could possibly clear up which titles (conservatively) would be safe to ship? (Including the upcoming Napata and Hyocorou titles).

I'm not familiar with Australian law and its definitions, but I'll try to sum up each book for you so you can come to your own conclusions:

Renai Sample has a flat-chested girl. The main character (MC) questions her age at one point and refers to himself as a lolicon (both in a comical fashion). According to the story, all the characters seem to be in university, and she's actually older than him.

PuniKano has a petite (demon) girl. MC refers to her as a "little girl" and "brat," but he himself seems to be in his late 20s or early 30s.

Peachy-Butt Girls has several flat-chested girls.

Welcome to Tokoharu Apartments has two flat-chested girls, but they're both in university. There's also a flashback to what seems to be one of the characters when she was in high school.

Hanafuda has a chapter with clearly underage characters, and this is probably the only book so far where this is the case. Note that this one currently only has a digital pre-order available.

Melty Gaze has a one-panel flashback with the main characters trying to have sex. Nothing explicit is shown, and the story implies that they didn't go further than some petting.

Alluring Woman and Porno Switch shouldn't have anything worth questioning.

The last time I looked at some of the other books was when I did the translation—which was months ago in some cases—so I don't have them all super fresh in mind, but none of them will be available for quite a while anyway. That being said, for NaPaTa's Love-Ridden, I don't think there's anything besides some flat-chested girls.

In general, most books have the same setting as the majority of anime and manga—i.e., high school—but with the exception of Hanafuda, I'm pretty sure none of them explicitly state that a character is underage. I wouldn't classify any of those loli.

Our books also have the following disclaimer at the end of them:
Spoiler:
All characters depicted in sexual or erotic acts in this publication are the age of majority or older, not withstanding suggestions otherwise presented within the work. All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

If you want me to have a closer look at any book you're interested in, feel free to PM me or reply here.

Thanks for the great response, to be honest I'm having trouble finding (up-to-date) guidelines on the refused classification category in Australia. I will have a look around and if I find clear guidelines I will definitely PM you and follow up.

I was mainly worried about this article (from a few years ago) that apparently was quoting from the classification board guidelines:

No depiction of violence, sexual violence, sexualised violence or coercion is allowed in the category. It does not allow sexually assaultive language. Nor does it allow consensual depictions which purposefully demean anyone involved in that activity for the enjoyment of viewers.

Fetishes such as body piercing [and tattooing], application of substances such as candle wax, 'golden showers', bondage, spanking or fisting are not permitted. As the category is restricted to activity between consenting adults, it does not permit any depictions of non-adult persons, including those aged 16 or 17, nor of adult persons who look like they are under 18 years.

The last line being the worrying part as it is admittedly vague and apparently makes this judgement based on breast size.

I imported a set of loli figs. in fact, dont write "LOLIS TO AUSTRALIA" on the box. Only a small percentage of packages gets checked if they are suspicious of powders or electronic mechanisms. They are illegal for stubborn social norms, you can always put an act similar to Law Abiding Citizen like Gerard Butler. 'This nation is not entitled to the way my sexual behaviour of jerking off to a book highly renown by the culture within, a coping mechanism whereby using tears as lube thereby being anti-social does not effect my mental attraction to real 13 year old girls.

You could argue that it's not a dipiction of a minor, or is different to a real minor. But, iunno.

I didn't even think of this myself. Although that said, similar deal in america, and the books run from there, and are sold to them often. Their customs are also pretty fucked sometimes (Well, only real case of it taking ages was a shipment of car audio gear which took 3 weeks to get out of customs, but that was a large amount of big boxes)

Is Metamorphosis available to be shipped into Australia? It was on Booktopia but has been sold out with no foreseeable restocking.

Yes, it is. Just ordered mine on BD. I think I got the last of stock though as it now says OOS. Here is a link to it.

You can buy Pink Album in Australia and Kinokuniya even has it in their catalogue. Metamorphosis should be too, It was on Booktopia as another member mentioned, but it was removed from direct searching? I can still load the page tho..

Metamorphosis should be, Its displayed in BD and I placed an order. I will respond again once received (25-30 Days). If I do receive the book and not a letter that would be hilarious. Australia is dumb af with censorship in manga... NGNL is banned yet I can still purchase Made in Abyss and others with the same questionable content. They ban harmless manga over one thing but completely ignore other issues present in other series... what clowns

IIR the MC in Metamorphosis is 16-17 at the start so this makes things even more funny lol

As a quick reference, when it comes to the depiction of minors, the Wikipedia article on the legality of child pornography comes in handy:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_child_pornography

As can be seen under the Oceania section, possession of any child pornography (ie. pornographic material), whether real or fictional, is illegal in Australia. While ages usually go unmentioned, it's unlikely that, for example, first year high schoolers are going to be 18 or older.
As for other works that depict "obscene" acts such as rape, bondage, homosexuality, etc., you'll have to look up local laws, and I implore anyone to do the same, even if using the quick reference above for works depicting minors. This is especially important in federated nations, like the USA, Canada, Australia or Germany, where laws may vary from state to state or province to province.
