Any illustration I try to open in the reader doesn't work. I don't think it's illustrations in particular, but rather any short-form content that is short enough to not have preview pics. Because I think I remember being unable to view things with 3 or 4 pages in the reader, though the illustration examples are mostly one page. I've tried a couple different browsers, and seems like a related issue has been mentioned over the past several months, so I don't think it's on my end. Thanks in advance.

Comments are still bugged out for me. Left two comments last night on this doujin: New Year's Love Potion - Hatimoto they aren’t showing up when I refresh the page and/or they were never posted. But it seems like other highly active users are having no issue. I still see comments from The Decline and others so, what gives?

Posted this in a previous thread, but...
Thumbnails are broken again, but this time when you view a work's page, it doesn't load at all.
When viewing from the catalog, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
Seems to only affect works with 'controversial' tags.

Reader is failing again…Same here. Using Safari on iPhone. Cleared cache/cookies and logged out. Tried installing Chrome with no luck either

Same for Safari on MacOS. Firefox on MacOS is working just fine.

Having the same issue as everyone else on an iPad. Click on something, and it’s stuck on an eternal loading screen. Seems to work fine on PC still.

Reader issues here as well. Firefox on iOS.
Considering asking for a refund on the stuff I just bought for Black Friday.

Okay so I’m not the only one having the loading issue for the past few days. Dose any one know if it’s an update on fakku’s side or is it the google browser that is the issue. How do we report this so it gets fixed.

The issue is that the reader frontend is at www.fakku.net, but the API backend is at reader.fakku.net. This means API requests are considered crossdomain, and WebKit doesn't include cookies in crossdomain requests. This could be resolved either by moving the reader backend and frontend to the same domain, or by sending the auth token explicitly (as a header or query-string parameter) instead of relying on the browser engine to send it as a cookie implicitly.

Checked with safari on a mac rather than mobile and it's also failing. Was able to check with dev tools and could see the problem is a CORS issue (header issue, not cookie issue).
For some reason the CORS specific headers aren't being set properly when requests are done on webkit only.
Also tried using chrome on the mac machine and it was working fine. So it's definitely a webkit-specific issue.
It's possible the CORS error is just a symptom of another problem though and that the backend doesn't get to set headers which cause the CORS issue but the problem occurs before that gets done.

Wouldn't including auth tokens in POST headers though be an attack surface, since those can't be encrypted?Huh?
- These requests are GETs
- The cookie is sent as a header anyway
- TLS encrypts the entire request and response

The root cause is the missing cookie.

Shows what I get for being inexperienced. My bad for being a fucking idiot.

Been two days and not fixed. Unable to read anything on iPad. What’s good having a Black Friday sale when you can’t read anything Way more than two days. Stopped working since at least last Wednesday
Yeah, and Fakku being in PST doesn't help either, so by the time they open, more than half of the US/Canada are already past noon. Really hoping their dev team get on top of this one quickly, because at most orgs this would likely have gotten the on-call team pulled in.
