FAKKU Reader Help, Feedback and Bug Report Thread

Although reader works on iphone now, some uploads are now missing and this seems to affect PC browser as well:

Hell even stuff I paid for, not just stuff on the subscription, is nuked if it has a controversial tag. Whole books are inaccessible because one chapter offended Mastercard.

I had fooled myself into thinking FAKKU would manage to dodge this nonsense, but it seems like their luck has run out. Hopefully they can figure out some solution, but it's probably not likely.

I mean it happens at the exact same time peoples credit cards stop working, plus its exclusively impacting the tags that were on a toggle specifically there to appeared payment processors, plus payment processors have been pushing everyone around really hard about MORALITY this year as project 2025 promised they would. Its all pretty obvious what's happening. At this point all we can do is hope that Fakku figures out a way to weasel out of their line of sight

Yeah, it's not confirmed, but it's the most obvious explanation for what's happening.

If that's the case, Fakku are going to have to show up in court, because I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to retroactively deny access to stuff for which consumers paid.

Wow, I thought it was just Fakku Unlimited chapters. FAKKU probably has a small team that is stretched thin at the moment, but they really should be doing a better job of communicating with their customers when people are losing access to books/doujins they've paid for.

Um...communication isn't enough here. I'm not a lawyer, but I think something about compensation comes to mind.

Let me rephrase that: communicating clearly with us is the least they should do at this moment if they want to retain a modicum of trust.

Edit: I'd also like to mention that hiding the forums while this whole thing is going on reflects really poorly on the company.

Yup. I'm likely out as a subscriber after this fiasco. Class action when?

So comments are down. Controversial chapters have been shuttered. Are we getting anywhere with these issues or is it just over?

I'd bet Fakku is done within the week. Download any chapters you can still access, and pirate the rest.
