2GB File Share

So im trying to upload a 2GB file of pictures for a friend and it seem every website i go to cant hold the file size.
So my question is, is there a way to upload a file(2GB) to a site to where i can just give that person a link and they can download the file right away?
Or just a link to where i can upload and store the file and it gives me a link that i can share and it just give the person the file (After download time has been met)

Have you archived the files into a .rar file type? That usually makes the size smaller for easier transfer. Then use a site like mediafire, which allows you to upload and send a download link to someone else.
Alternatively, use a memory stick or external hard drive :)

Well its not a rar type file its just a normal file.
But is there a way i can make it into a rar file? I do have Winrar.
But haha its a friend over the internet so the external hard drive is a little out of the question! :P

1. Make sure the files are in a folder if they are not already
2. Right click the folder and select "Add to 'FolderName.rar'".
3. Let the PC use magic wizarding powers.
4. BOOM! You have your rar file to upload to mediafire :)

aha, well mediafire is just a personal preference and the most user friendly. I don't know how the others work, but you could try Rapidshare (although there's a download speed limit, so your friend will be waiting a while), Hotfile, Fileshare etc.

Alright well its Winrar-ed but it exceeds the limit.
Its still sadly 2GB.
and Mediafire doesnt allow more the 200MB.
Any site that would allow more then this?

If you both have Google accounts, you can upload the pictures into a folder on Drive and share it with that person.

Just do a manual .rar of the file and split into 200 MB chunks. 7zip can do this pretty easy and i bet winrar can too.

Split the file into 200mb parts, upload to mediafire.
Or
Upload the file to a tracker, give friend torrent link, and then seed.
Or
If your ISP allows, route it through FTP - I think there's some guides on it.
Or
Put it on a flash drive, physically give it.
Or

Yeah.
Pretty much what im doing is taking 500 pictures and placing them in individual .rar folders, uploading them to mediafire, then sending the links.
Its a slow process but at least its getting me some where! :/
And as for the suicide?
No no noo. I haven't yet think of that.
I got it working so thats kinda behind me! ;P
