yes i understand how hypocrytical and contradictuary this is going to sound, but i got a problem and i need help.

past few weeks ive realised i dont have the feelings i thought i did for my girlfreiand, she has next to none of the same interests as far as my anime adiction and Japanese culture thing goes, whice is tolerable [barley] but i find i cannot spend as much time as she needs me to be with her and still stay sain. infact its getting worse, if im not with her one day of the week she makes a big deal about it.

yet at the same time when she says things like i love you with all my heart and i cant live without you, and sounds serious about it, i cant bring myself to leave her. for now im trying to wait till after x-mas but i still need a bit of help doing this.

I dunno, I'd say wait till after. No one likes a ruined holiday, especially one often spent around family and friends (as emotions will certainly affect your interactions).

I broke up with my ex before a big fun weekend of his and it was pretty ruined for him by the cloud of sadness/general emotion... so yeah, I don't recommend it.

But do try quite soon. You're right, it isn't good to hold out.
Before you do, though, consider why you're no longer interested in her... just to clear your head and to be sure.

I always say make the other person think it was their idea to leave you. stop washing yourself, stop taking out the trash, start being rude and after a while, they will get sick of you and leave. if you live together, my favorite is to slowly move out possesions that i want to keep. then, wait until the other person goes to work(or some other time consuming, regular commitment) and move out the rest of my stuff. if ownership is questionable, leave it, material possesions are fleeting. the second is a bit harsh, so i save that for cruel or unfaithful partners.

both take time, so plan ahead, and be patient.
