A little question.

So this morning, I downloaded some things I should not have, and ended up getting a virus I believe. After download a window kept popping up maybe 15 or so times saying Trojan detected. I couldn't open up anything, not firefox/chrome or skype, ect. Now I told a friend and he said to do a system restore and I restored to earlier today before I downloaded it. I'm able to open Firefox now (derp) and other applications. Although I'm not entirely if doing a system restore solves everything, so I would like to know if I'm in the clear? (Please keep trolling to a minimum.

Depends, some don't die easy. Run anti virus and try malware bytes it can remove and detect a lot of stuff most anti virus can't and it in the free program page.
