Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Ok this may sound ridiculous but, there is a movie coming out next year called 'Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter'. I saw it while going through the list of up coming movies at work, and I was like OMG! That Seems so awesome! Here's a link to the trailer on youtube:

The trailer seems kinda like those random ones people make for a joke but its actually based on a real book. This movie may be one of the only ones I watch that is based on a best-seller book.

I did not care for the book to be honest. It was pretty tedious and not really as interesting as the name implies. It doesn't capture the horror of vampires nor does it capture the larger than life mythos of honest Abe.

Oh really? I guess the idea is pretty awesome but, I'm not much of a book reading person(manga not include) so I wouldn't really know the 'Horror' that the vampires are supposed to have. Are the vampires at least more horrific than twilight?

Yes, they're more badass than twilight vampires. They murder people, try to overthrow the government.

Communist vampires, ehh. Looks like I need to see Lincoln emancipate some heads.

EVERY other vampire is better than the Twilight vampires! Yes, that even includes The Count from Sesame Street.

If you don't mind some drama strewn in with vampires, Buffy and Angel probably do it best. If you want to see what vampires are REALLY capable of, all you need is Vampire the Masquerade.

First, the count is pimp. Also I have watched Buffy, there was a time when I was into it for a few weeks cause one holiday I me and a friend stayed over one of his friends house and they had a ps2 with a buffy game and they were havin trouble beating the last boss, but because I'm such a huge gamer I won... easily on a game I've never played before.

If you have a decent PC, try Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Let's see how you fare as a REAL modern-day vampire.

It has an original idea and it has Tim Burton directing it, I'll probably go watch it.

Do I smell a cult hit? The concept seems...interestingly humorous. Not a buy or a rental, but definitely something I'd torrent and watch to pass the time.

was going to bump it after seeing the trailer, despite it not being an actually trailer for the movie, but its an interesting video none the less.

I didn't know there was another one, on the master list it wasnt updated recently enough to include that thread so I didn't know about it.
