Who has got a six [or eight] pack and what did you do to get that way?
And no a keg is not better than a six pack in this case and I dun wanna hear your story for that.

                        I don't, but I'm working on it.
I basically follow a few exercises on my phone's iFitness app.
5 sets of 20 for each.
Ab crunch on ball
Hanging leg raise
Twisting crunches
Weighted crunch

I have a 7....its really supposed to be 8 , but they lack definition so it looks like 7 with the top 2 looking like 1 big 1 ..its pretty fucking annoying ,and really embarrassing actually , considering genetics fucked me and made them uneven just to top it off =_= ,but anyway my workouts included:
Knee-Strike on Bag
Sit-Ups(ground)
Sit-Ups(inverted)
Mountain Climbers
Leg Raisers
Plank on Elbows and Toes
Broom Rotations
Oblique Crunch
Really all of this was just workouts that where part of building core-strength in my martial arts classes ,and I just kept doing them along with the rest of my workout long after they told me to stop.

A friend told me he did about 500 crunches a day.
I struggle with my abs, although you do need to be under 8% body fat to have visible abs I believe. So no matter how many you may do, having over 8% body fat will be rather pointless.
My personal favorite would be cross-crunchs and oblique crunches.
Cross: Lift both shoulders off the ground, tap one elbow to the opposite knee and repeat for the other side.
Oblique: Get into crunch position (back on floor, hands behind head, knees bent) now cross your left leg over your right and press both against the floor, so that your whole body is flat. Then crunch up ( you can also raise your knee and tap your elbow as in cross crunches) and do the same to the other side.
But these are just simple ones that burn for me.

Dude fuck crunches if you just want a six pack. Lose fat until you reach 10% body fat and you'll have a six pack. The only real work you need to do is for those lower abs, the final 2 packs of the 6 pack. Some people just don't get to see those ones easily. Prolly genetics cause I had problems trying to get the last 1-2 to show definitively.
I kept doing crunches and ab workouts for like a year with barely any progress. Then I started to cut down my weight for like 3/4 of the year and I saw a 4 pack and a faint 6 pack. I lost that progress though after my nutrition went wrong thanks to school and stuff.
Only got my 4 pack now. But trick is drop your body fat percentage with cardio and proper nutrition.
