Say what you will about CN's treatment of other shows, they know what to sell when it comes to Adventure Time. But that's probably cause of Pendleton Ward.

It;s a story about a guy slowly detiorating into madness with the daughter of the king of the Nightosphere in tow as they traverse through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. If it isn't soul-crushingly depressing, I'd be disappointed.

I've been a fan of this show since day 1, and that was easily the worst episode I've ever seen. Worse than "Go With Me", worse than both Fiona & Cake episodes, just...awful.

This was such a good episode and I love billy's ex girlfriend Canyon! I hope she does make another appearence as indicated by her before she leaves Finn.

Also that plot twist was pretty sweet. I figured Finn's mom/dad were alive, but I didn't expect the spirit of Billy to tell Finn this fact. Can't wait for the new season now! Curse you Adventure Time, you keep me coming back for more!

I hope they do a better job with Finn meeting his father then they did with the Ice King and Betty. I was a bit disapointed with how they did that episode and felt it should've been darker and maybe been a two parter.

I actually enjoyed the Betty episode, maybe because I hadn't looked up what the generally storyline was going to be.

For some reason I kinda thought that too, but if they ever did Finn would have to be 18+. I mean no matter how you spin it billy was in his early 20s/30s when he dated her. Even if they dated in their teens, Billy and Canyon are much older now so it would be hard to pull it off to make her age appripate for them to date.

I didn't think they did a terrible job with the Betty episode. I just felt that it could've been more and darker. When the Ice King's past is introduced it was kind of mind blowing because it showed how dark the show could actually be. Every new episode segment expanded on his dark past and made it quite interesting. I was sort of hoping that this would be the same, but I just felt like it was more grey from the rest. It also felt a little rushed, since the episodes are only 11minutes so maybe a 2 parter would have been more appropriate. I'm am happy though that the episode got a part in the series!
