Some days I feel like an old man because despite being 18 my body is starting to fail (eyesight, bad back, hearing loss, etc...) but mentally I am very much a child. I'm not completely self-sufficient and I spend my time doing things for fun not gain.

People around me are starting to make old man jokes about me as I'm approaching my thirties. I never thought about that particular issue.

Also, people often tell me I'm ninety years old at heart and that is the truth I have no idea why.
There's moments where I feel so fucking old, especially when I have the feeling that things aren't being done the way we used to do them, before the GPW.
Normally though, I feel just about my actual age.

I'm 18, still feel I'm 12-14 mentally. I still slack hard on my schoolwork, I still play games over 4-6 hours a day. I don't work, I still leech off my parents. Hmm, if I stayed in my room all day and did some more stuff, I'd be classified as a Hikikomori.

At least I go out :)

I turn 19 soon, I feel like I'm 17 or I should stay 18 forever. I don't like birthdays. I don't. For me, it's just another year closer to dying. That whole maturity and with age come responsibility crap is bullshit to me.

That's so totally true. Sometimes at work, my back is so stiff I can barely bend over to pick something up off the ground. Then again, my last lumbar is partially fused to my sacrum, so that tends to make things stuff ;| but still! I'm 20 and have a hard time picking up things off the ground!
