Seeing youths getting wasted and derping in ib made me wonder.
How many of you fakku gents and ladies use ethanol-containing beverages to releave your minds from daily pressures & drab?
And, on the other hand, are there people up in here who elude Dionysus' charms, prefering the keen grasp of reality over tipsy woolgathering?
For me, the after-feeling from even a single drink was always disappointing and dull. So i made my choice.

I like to drink to let loose, yeah. Sure, I don't do it all the time, but its a nice break to have.

I used to be hardcore straightedge. I only drink now for the sake of the occasion like a party or the moment where I just need a drink lol. I can't imagine being a heavy drinker (hard liquor still makes me sick).

You say that after only drinking a bit of wine coolers but i've had a party with my pledge brothers where we drank some hard liquor like casadores( hope i spell that right) and played beer pong with malibu. But hard liquor isn't for me. Im a little beefy so it takes quite a few beers to get me drunk.

Give me a fine bottle of wine, some sharp raw spirits or some good apple cider and I am down. I am no poor mans drunkard off of cheap foolery, you must embrace the heavy spirit of the booze and respect it.
To handle your alcohol responsibility, is the heavy burden of the deliciousness contained. It is unmanly to drink more than you can handle, it is unmanly to conduct yourself in an unruly or alcohol driven manner. A man drinks his alcohol, he does not let the alcohol drink him.

I can't save I've ever drank, but I'm not against the concept. I just don't like paying large sums of money just to drink here and again. Now if I'm out with friends, and we decide to go to a bar then sure, but short of that - nada.
That said, I so wanna try: this.
So did I. So did I.

I don't drink alcohol, I cannot drink alcohol, and I don't have any intention to drink alcohol.
Second option.
Sums it up.

I really only drink the occasional glass of wine on a special occasions. There are times I'll have other substances, but its never a "Drink to get drunk" scenario.

From about age 17-25 i drank pretty hard. after that i kind of grew out of getting drunk. i'll still have a few drinks every now and then, but i'd much rather get baked.
