Android Insufficient Space HELP!

So i just got a telpad from PLDT, phone company of PH, and it is running on an Android OS, anyway, i love this thing and its fun to use. But my problem is i have like six gigs of free space, but when I try to download something from the market it says error insufficient space. I really need help on this, i want to download games and play stuff on it but the error is preventing me. Please anyone, does anyone have a fix for this? Im a noob at this android and i have no knowledge whatsoever.

All you need is some common sense to solve a lot of technical issues.
I'm just throwing guesses here: is the memory built in or does it use removable cards (like I a phone would)? If so, perhaps there's a setting that forces all DLs into the built-in memory (My android phone does this).
Also, you're probably better off asking this question on the forums of the actual maker of the pad.
