Anesthesia: it's effect on the Memory

I had minor neck surgery two days ago, and I was wondering if any of you have had a similar experience , or if it's just me.

I got out of the hospital at some point after surgery, then I'm back home now thinking back, I don't remember opening my eyes after surgery, leaving the hospital, getting in my car, thanking the doctor, talking to anyone, nothing. Blank, is this common? If yes, have any of you been able to recall leaving? I am literally mind fucked, it's like I was half brain dead and driving myself home and the possible words I exchanged were an automatic response, I don't remember it happening.

Well, it's tricky to say. I've had to have stitches in my head, an appendicitis and my [size=10] circumcision[/h] as my major operations. The most I can say is that, I don't actually remember the moments from after-surgery to homecoming. I might not remember due to the fact that those were less than a decade back, but who knows really.

Or maybe my parents decided to bring me home while asleep. That could be a factor.

hmm... after my circumcision and some bleeding toe operations (all of which had anesthesia).. i never had any memory loss unless i actually decided i really wanted to remove the darn freakishly painful memories..

my theory on how you lost your memory.. you probably deprived your brain of blood by visiting nosebleed threads too much ahahahaha

Anesthesia is fucking awesome. It really did feel like much of my time while under it's effects were a blur, but I'm able to remember it. You probably had a bit too much, eh?

I believe the term you are looking for is "bashed" or "attacked", not "trolled". Also, it does not happen to all your threads.

I was not specifying that it did, just is now, goodday follows every post that I make and wont stop filling my inbox. Yes, trolling is the word I used and for good reasons

The first thing I remember after my most recent surgery was threatening to castrate the doctor with my bare hands if he didn't stop asking me questions. From what my mom told me, I was nicer at 16 than I was after I had surgery when I was 7 or 8.

You must've been an angry child. Stitches only require localized anesthesia.

When I was 7 or 8, I can't remember, I had a double hernia, so I needed surgery to make sure my nuts wouldn't be fucked up for the rest of my life, and when I was 16 I had to have part of my left quadricep removed because of a staph infection. Both times I had general anesthesia.
