Any good Recipes ?

I'm temporary living alone right now with no one to cook me food.
Do you, fakkutarians, have any decent recipes I can actually cook for the mean time? It's been 4 days straight with only canned food on my self with no idea what to do with them. All I do is fry them and poor soysauce on my rice. :\ Pretty lame.
So please give me some simple dishes I can make that will cause me less money.

If you're looking for a fuck easy meal to cook. Try eggs. Put a bit of olive oil in a frying pan and have at them. Heat mid to high and until they look ready. Or if you want something of a challenge:
Vegetables (assorted) and cut in a frying pan, cut them and put them in from hardest to softest, DONT FORGET TO STIR.
Then put in tomato sauce, the stuff from a jar, not ketchup like stuff.
When turn the heat down to where the sauce bubbles (you'll have to wait a bit first) and have your pasta boiling to the side for as long as it needs. Have the sauce in the pan for about.. 10/15 minutes. Turn of the heat, drain the pasta, serve with light cheese on top.
Edit: Or stick some bacon in the microwave. make sure they're on a paper towel (also covered by one), leave them in there for 4-6 minutes. Done. eat.

If you have a cooker, sunflower oil, a deep fat fryer and potatoes, make chips. (Or fries, depends where you live)
Note: I don't peel them, it takes too much time for little benefit and they're nicer with the skins on in my opinion.
Slice a relatively large potato in 3 sections, which gives 4 slices. Take 2 slices and cut them into 4 sections which should give good sized "fingers". Chuck them in the fryer. Do the same with the other 2 slices, cut into 4 sections and chuck them in the fryer. Repeat with more potatoes until you think you have enough. Whack on the heat on at full power, cover it and leave it to fry, occasionally checking up on your chips. If some are still poking out the top and still looks like a potato, it doesn't matter too much, but feel free to shake them about to get them in the oil. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes, if that.
Get paper towels and put them on a plate. When the chips/fries are cooked, (you'll know when they are, when they're golden brown and are soft inside) put them on the paper towels and pat them off to get rid of excess oil. Remove the towel from underneath them and dispose of as you wish. You now have a plate of cooked chips. Splash on vinegar and some salt to taste.
Congratulations, you have made yourself some chips/fries. They go well with pretty much anything.

Soy Sauce on rice!? Blasphemy, you should never pour soy sauce on rice. Soy sauce is an ingredient, not a condiment.
If you have a pressure cooker, I have a recipe for you. Add 2 chicken legs, a whole onion chopped, 2 sticks of celery, a tomato, lemon zest+lemon juice+the whole lemon, 2 heads of garlic chopped, parsley, with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 20-30 minutes and you'll have wonderful soup.
Alternatively, just go to the store, buy some tortellini pasta and follow this recipe.

Is he just looking for recipe's in general? I think he's referring more to SUPER EASY recipes that he can cook on the fly since he lives alone. But anyway.
Rule of Thumb for Easy-to-Cook Food is to look for Food that you eat with Alcohol.
an example would be Fried hot dogs in Gravy. Chop up some hotdogs and fry them in a pan along with some onions and garlic. Season with Salt and Pepper. While that is cooking, Heat up some instant gravy. Pour Made gravy into pan while hotdogs are cooking. Simmer for 5 minutes. Enjoy
Goes great with Beer :D
Another really great recipe is candied Fishballs, squidballs. I dont have a name for it, but I just call it Candied Balls :D Caramelize some onions and garlic in a big sauce pan, then dump in an entire bag of squidballs, and kikiam and some mushrooms that you cut in half. Cover and let it sizzle for a bit, making sure to turn it every few seconds to prevent burning. While that is cooking, prepare the spicy bit (optional)
Just take half a cup of oyster sauce, add some chilis and sugar to taste, then a teaspoon of cornflour. Drizzle over the food and then add some more sauce until most of it is covered. Simmer over a medium heat until the sauce has been reduced and you have a sticky mixture. Let it rest for 5 minutes then Eat. Serves around 5 people.
Goes great with the Coconut-Pineapple Rum Mix I posted in the drinks thread :D

Either way, he's asking about food, so I thought reporting it to this section would have been appropriate. Besides, not EVERYONE can cook for shit, believe it or not, so better to take it to Food and Cooking anyway, whereas almost everyone who comes there CAN cook something.
Sorry for any inconveniences caused (motherfucker, I'm starting to sound like Gambler).

Rice doesn't need flavoring, if you want to flavor it, eat it with the juices from the dishes. I don't care if its gravy or... wait I just realized, Americans don't cook like the Chinese -_-. Either way, just add some cheese to it for flavoring. Whenever I see or hear people put soy sauce on rice, I facepalm... even my girlfriend or best friend.

Best way to make chicken and impress a girl at the same time:
PUT HERB BUTTER UNDER THE CHICKEN'S SKIN!!!! :D
Super easy, honestly.
1. In a blender or food processor blend a stick of butter and herbs of your choosing. (I like thyme and marjoram personally. Garlic and rosemary is also good)
2. Loosen the chicken's skin, this is super easy, just get your fingers under the skin near the cavity and slowly pull the skin away, lots of videos if you need help
3. apply the butter under the skin, make sure to get it all around the thighs and legs.
4. place in a 350*F oven for about 30-45 mins, depends on chicken size. For even browning and moistest meat start with thighs up and @20 mins in flip the bird, preferably use a roasting rack.
For a full meal to impress a girl, parboil some potatoes and/or root veges, toss in herbs and roast under the chicken.
Also, yeah soy sauce is an ingredient, not a condiment. Try furikake for added flavor.

An incredibly easy recipe for those who live alone. Or those who dislikes complicated cooking.

some soy sauce
salt
pepper (if you want)
oil
Tools needed.
frying pan
spatula
How to do:
Heat the oil, simply scramble the egg, add soy sauce, salt, pepper, and any other ingredient you want, and finished.
Eat with rice.

Got a bunch of easy recipes for you, depends on what food/products are available in your area and such, and what you;re budget is, but for now here's one:
Baked Chicken Breast (boneless and/or skinless)
1 medium sized chicken breast
(boneless and skinless, bit healthier w/o skin but boneless is optional)
(you can also buy chicken breasts in packs so you can save the other pieces for later by freezing them in baggies)
bread crumbs (any kind will do, Italian blend is nice but plain works just to give u some crunch, just look around) (1/4 - 1/2 cup depending on the breast)
Rosemary/Salt/Pepper (about 1 teaspoon each)
1 large egg
Wash the chicken,
take the egg and beat it in a bowl,
dip the chicken in the egg
mix the rosemary, salt, and pepper in with the bread crumbs
take the egg soaked chicken and cover with bread crumb mix
Bake it on a non stick tray (can layer a tray with foil to save you some clean up time) @375 degrees for about 30-40 mins (again depends on how thick the meat)
there ya go, have it with a side of rice and veggies and you're good!
you can also fry the chicken too, just butterfly the chicken into to pieces, so instead of cutting it down the middle, you cut it from the side to filet it
so you follow all the same steps but you just fry it in a pan instead of baking it, I would suggest a splash guard tho, for the oil splash back.
Oh with the left over egg, you can either toss it, or you can fry it up just make sure it's not runny since you did dip poultry in it!
Ok, may this wasn't super super simple, but it's a nice change!

Well it does need flavoring, especially when eating rice with fried meat or sauceless viands.
