Anyone owns a pen tablet and can help?

Just bought a Wacom Intuos4 pen tablet, and it is awesome and all except for one small problem; for some reason I have to double tap it to start the pen pressure, otherwise it'll just draw with the hardest pressure all the time. This makes it almost impossible to use the pen pressure function anyway, since you always end up with dots and whatnot, and when you're trying to be detailed it's a fucking pain in the ass T^T
So my question is; how do I change it? I've scoured through the manual, tried every setting in the entire fucking System Properties, but it won't do as I wont =/
EDIT: Ok, it seems like it works properly in Open Canvas, but not in Photoshop... Anyone knows what I should do?
EDIT2: Works in GIMP as well -_- CURSE YOU PHOTOSHOP!

My only guess right now is that possibly the Windows 7 (and Vista i think) tablet features may be interfering. I had some problems with all those weird flick getting in my way plus the virtual keyboards popping up and some handwriting recognition every now and then.
Try disabling those if you haven't already.
