I wonder what would be the case if the murderer was a black guy who though that the "white boy in sweatshirt was up to no good".
I bet the guy would be in prison righ about now, not waiting trial with a good chance of getting away with a "stand your ground" bullshit.

Two week ago two teenagers knock on my door looking for someone they played BF$ online with... they we're drunk. They could be dead in half of the houses in the counties, but kids are dumb so i just warned them that walking into people properties isn't the smartest thing to do out here. That why you press the gate bell or honk your horn. Kids be kids.... dumb. Funny the gate is on my leaser's truck yard... he would of.... he got robbed twice in the last 2 years.

At least he was charged with second degree murder. I don't see how you can apply a stand your ground situation here if the shooter was chasing the kid, not the other way around. I seriously doubt the shooter will walk. Also, interesting site btw. I'm skimming through some stories and just shaking my head.

I dont know if him being black was a factor or not, i could see this looking very crazy to a bystander, maybe even scary, not because he's black but because of how he was running so fast with his pants falling down and everything, with a hoodie on and his hands rammed in his pockets, running across somebody else's lawn. BUT STILL. Why not fire a warning shot first if you are so worried about something?? First of all, WHY GUN. why? you cant yell or chase him down and tackle him or something? Do you really have to instantly resort to fatal actions without any context to explain the situation? Even if he was doing something illegal, you arent the one who decides he deserves to die.
