Are you an impulse buyer?

Do you buy things just because of sale or have that urge to own it and say you have it?
Thankfully I fixed my addiction but, I can say for myself I had major problems with spending money on sales at GOG Games and now own almost 500 games in the span of 4 years from sales.

I can be, but generally not really.
My last impulse buy were multiple packets of Super Sizzler noise magnets from my workplace. That was 3 months ago. I only wanted them to make a snake made of magnets. Got them discounted because of staff discount.
Crap, I've been meaning to buy a MicroSD card for my Switch for months and I've still not done it.

Most of the time? Sort of. Food, and stuff that apartments need? Sure. Things for my family? Yeah. Alcohol? OF COURSE! Yet games, and electronics? Not so much. Life, and work get in the way. A few games are coming up, and I just don't have the time or motivation to do it, because work kills the mood, and all. This includes some RPGs, including PKMN Shield (don't even have a Switch, yet), of which I have to pick the sad (somewhat fiding, especially if the rumors are true) water starter, instead of the fire starter. As for electronics, they cost too much, and responsibilities get in the way. Some day I'll get a decent gaming PC. I must save for now.

I sort of, however I do track my money, ensure I have enough for my necessities (mortgage, bills, etc.) + savings, and the money I do throw out is expendable.

Thankfully for my wallet I usually only impulse buy fast food for dinner. I’m usually pretty good on waiting on games and movies I wanna play/watch.

When I was younger I use to be a pretty bad impulse buyer, but nowadays I like to think I'm pretty smart when it comes to spending money. I usually only buy stuff when I know I can and it won't break my wallet.

When there is a sale I think about buying stuff for a moment before buying. I never buy expensive things without checking stuff, etc.

No, not any more. I tried it once and it was the best money I ever spent in my life. I tried it again and got burned. Never again.

Life is great
Anyone else impulse buy in huge batches? Like I go months with rational usage of my money and then I’d have that day where I’d buy like 10 games I’ll never play on Steam/Switch and doujinshi from specific artists (yanyos been one recently)

I'm like a cross I can be tight fisted when coming to holding onto cash but I have something pop up that is worth buying I will snatch that up without a seconded though and it will tend to cascade into picking up a few more things that same day.

Sometimes. I recently bought a DVA Nerf gun for $20 that was on clearance.
I felt it was a pretty good use of my stimulus money while paying my bills.
