Are you happy with your life ?

I regret throwing away a good job because I let things get under my skin too easily. I like to think I've grown some thicker skin since then. So, assuming I can find another job soon so I can go back to supporting myself, then yes, I would be rather happy.
I no longer regret not going to college. I can honestly say in my heart's heart that college isn't for me. I'm perfectly content with the idea of having a simple job enough to live my day-to-day life peacefully with the living of a lower-middle class American. I've never been one to care about extravagance.
Thankfully, I will own the house I live in, and should have enough money when my father dies, to be able to fix it up and not have to remortgage the house. Not having a huge, $500/month house payment should make things a bit easier on me when I'm forced to completely support myself rather than this shared support that I have with my father.

Happy, yes for what it is. Could be better, but at least it isn't worse! Now to fill in the filler!
[size=10]In the days of my youth
I was told what it means to be a man
Now I've reached that age
I've tried to do all those things the best I can
No matter how I try
I find my way into the same old jam
Good Times, bad times, you know I've had my share
Well, my woman left home for a brown-eyed man
but I still don't seem to care
Sixteen, I fell in love with a girl as sweet as could be
It only took a couple of days 'till she was rid of me
She swore that she would be all mine and love me 'till the end
but when I whispered in her ear, I lost another friend, oh
Good Times, bad times, you know I've had my share
Well, my woman left home for a brown-eyed man
but I still don't seem to care
Good Times, bad times, you know I've had my share
Well, my woman left home for a brown-eyed man
but I still don't seem to care
I know what it means to be alone
I sure do wish I was at home
I don't care what the neighbors say
I'm gonna love you each and every day
You can feel the beat within my heart
Realize, sweet babe, we ain't ever gonna part
I feel good when I look at you mama[/h]
