Are you Straight Edge..?

I occasionly drink some. I smore daily and maybe a little weed too sometimes, but not much.
Seriously, I smoke and have been smking for years now and I'm not even considering putting it down.
Keeping "straight edge" takes serious devotion and self control. I heard of what you're saying and I have to say, that if someone who does it, actually knows and understands what it means......I admire that person.

I seriously thought he was talking about shaving, because i use a straight edge. the old fold up kind. lather my face and everything. But i do not do drugs, i don't smoke, drinking is not something i enjoy the most i will do is wine on special occasions.

I don't drink for a few reasons:

• I hate the taste of alcohol

• I do enough stupid shit in my life that when I'm going to do something stupid, I at least wanna be able to look to my friend (invisible/imaginary or otherwise) and say "dude check this shit out!" and I wanna remember it so I can look at myself and be like, "you, good sir, are a stupid fuck"

I don't do drugs because I get enough of a high out of my girlfriend/the music I listen to (hardstyle anybody?), although I have considered ecstasy a few times.

I don't smoke for the fact that I hate the smell and my girlfriend is terribly allergic to cig smoke so I would rather have my girlfriend that have a smoke.

Yes I am. Why? Because I don't really find the appeal to be honest. I even had a lot of peer pressure, people calling me an idiot and what not. Didn't bother me though. I mean, why would I become dependent of a substance that doesn't really do anything good to my body? I have always kept that mindset and I believe I will do so till I last.

Either way, anime, hentai and video games are my anti-drug. They work quite well :)

lol I know told somedude he was "anti-fun" for being straight edge (I was just messing with him) but here's the truth: I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm "Straight Edge", but I choose not to drink/smoke/etc., mostly because I promised myself that everything my dad is I would never become (he's a big drinker). I dunno the term Straight Edge just seems a little funny to me, and not ha-ha funny, just... funny.

OT: Nope. I don't really care... I don't drink or smoke everyday, but I won't start counting the number of time I'm doing it.

I'm straight edged, because drugs and smoking destroy your body and I don't drink because I don't like the taste of alcohol.

I don't drink because I'm still underage for drinking, and even if I could I wouldn't since there are plenty of better things to do that doesn't harm your body (such as this, unless your a chronic masturbator). Smoking is an absolute no no for me because of my premature status when I was born. Also my doctors' and parents' would kill me for wasting a billion or so dollars in medical expenses. Drugs are for the same reason. Not worth risking the money that kept me alive (literally) when I was younger. Also, I vaguely remember coming out of withdrawal from morphine, that was an intense withdrawal, so I couldn't imagine it with any other drug.

Sex and New Fag trolling are my substitutes for Drugs and Alcohol.

i occasionally smoke weed but its more of a social thing with me then me actually enjoying it i get paranoid and i hate the feeling of being extremely tired after i smoke it as for drinking i only do that every few months or so when my best mates are in the same place other then that i try to stay away from alcohol my dad drunk alot when i was young so iv seen what drinking can lead to.

Never was serious with alcohol, and NEVER smoked anything in my thirty-to-be-soon-one life span since I didn't let peer pressure or personal problems get the best of me, so I had never had any reasons to indulge myself in smoking/drinking to begin with.

Yes, just because it's healthy, although I have a glass of whisky on New Year's Day. I don't even take medicine unless my doctor strictly tells me to, just because I like to beef up my immune system.

Also, recreational drugs and smoking have just never appealed to me because of the way they smell/make you act like a cunt.

I don't like the taste of alcohol but if you can find something where that taste is well hidden/overpowered I would drink it.
I might try marijuana like the day before I die or something.
Not ever trying anything else that is illegal in the US.

I drink most days, but only a couple of beers. On weekends & holidays, if I have nothing to do, I'm usually downing shots by late evening. I also used to chain smoke but after a rough patch and some financial troubles I forced myself to quit, probably one of the hardest things I've had to do lmao. I don't think I'll be moving into anything more than this, since I'm content with what I have.

Weed isn't a drug.
