Are you Straight Edge..?

Sort of.... I only drink occasionaly (usually major hoildays, or when I've hurt my self bad or have a stomach bug and want to disinfect my guts), I just started smoking, but I never do it more than once a day and skip days, drugs NEVEEEEEER!

I'm young and excercise moderation so I feel that it is unlikely that I'll cause my self measurable longterm harm at the rate I'm going.

I've seen old pot heads that can't remember worth a flying shit(we had a sprinkler repair guy who was an old pot head whom I got lots of free tools from because he seemed to forget half of what he brought each time he was out).

I would not do any drugs because they all do irreparable damage to ones mind and nervious system (usually as soon as you first try), and as someone who has a vintage electronics restoration hobby I can tell you that I need my mind and nervious system at or above peak opperating status to do what I do. There days I wish I could transform in to a tentacle monster not just to screw many chicks at once, but to have enough hands to hold my soldering iron, the solder, and the component I'm installing when I'm working on pre printed circuit board era electronics(there are days that I'm shocked that I can manage to solder with only two hands).


If I need a high I fap, or I pick up a soldering iron and start working on electronics....which can give me a high almost better than fapping when I sucessfully fix a radio or TV set that is more than twice as old as me back to like new opperating condition, especially if there was a tricky electrical bug that made me really work hard to overcome it(I relish a good challenge!).

I don't smoke because it just doesn't make any sense for me. I haven't used drugs yet, though I probably will at some point. And I drink on occasion. If I had a social life, I would drink a hell of a lot more.

So I'm kind of straight edge, but kinda wish I wasn't.

Yeah im straight edge, hell I don't even drink soda, I run on constant sunny D/ Hawaii Punch/Kool aid and milk. Anything that used to be alive i'll eat, as for drugs and smoking I think it's silly but most of my friends do that stuff and im okay with it, but I hate being with friends when they're high cause they act like dumb asses.

i can't be considered straid edged cause i've tired alcohol but don't like the taste. i don't do weed or illegal drugs. i don't do cigs cause i can't stand second hand in the first place. i don't do alcohol cause like i said i don't like the taste. and if i go to a party i like to remember whtat the fuck i did, and a hangover for a night that i won't remember, no thanks. plus i make bad enough decisions as is, and alcohol don't help with help. i don't not do them because of moral objection. my reason is i already take bad care of my health as it is, i don't need something bad to fuck it up worse.

I personally think that pot is fine, -_- Right know I'm a straight edge but I need something to mello out as of late so Within the next month I'm plannin' on giving pot a try, I hope It helps -_-

People are straight edge for their own personal reasons. I have a friend who's straight edge because his family has a very dark history with drugs and alcohol. So it's not because it's 'IN' now. There are people that are actually bullied for being straight edge believe it or not.

I only drink, but sparingly, I haven't gotten drunk to the point of memory loss. I don't smoke because I know I will get addicted and I don't want that kind of problems. Besides it's a cheap way to look cool anyways.
Now, Drugs, I don't do them because it's stupid and self destructive and I openly despise them, Specially weed. It's the fucking reason my country is a shitstorm and it brings nothing but pain, suffering and death behind a mask of ignorance. They destroy the lives of those who use, often them beyond repair.

I don't drink, smoke or take drugs, but I wouldn't give it a label. I would fit into the category of a straight edge but I don't go around saying "I'm a straight edge" - I just hate alcohol, and have never smoked or taken drugs because it doesn't appeal to me and I don't need some pile of shit substance (alcohol and drugs) that tastes like shit to be entertained because I'm not a boring person and can stimulate fun myself without it.

Weed is the single greatest thing man has ever discovered, it helps cancer patients, possibly aids patients, it's great stress relief and it's fun to smoke with friends, alcohol is okay, not a big fan but the occasional cocktail is fun, and cigars are great when you want to feel classy and evil (and they are so smooth).

Face it, being a heathen is gloriously awesome, but it isn't everyones cuppa tea

i've only ever seen it the other way. a bunch of asshole kids trying to pick fights with who ever they out number for simply smoking a cigarette. or taking a swing at a pothead who, just trying to be nice, offered to share. or beating the shit out of an alcaholic homeless dude in the park.

mindless thugs for the most part. no better than the KKK or those loonies who protest soldiers funerals. ignorant and closed minded. trying to force their views on other people.
