Anyway, big bump, but good reason.
New single is out! It's called Nightmare, and it's a mix between their self-titled and Live In LBC. Portnoy's drumming is amazing, as usual, and it gives a good note to the song, which is amazing. Listen to it.

Avenged Sevenfold is great anyone hear nightmare yetheck yeah I did. They play it on the only alternative/metal station in my area pretty often.
Late, but RIP The Rev. You're still one of the reasons I carry this username to all the forums I go to.

I'm so happy I already pre ordered their new cd. And they are just fucking amazing live. But I hate to say that they will never be the same without the Rev. Mike Portney is good actually he's great but his style is just so different from the Rev's. I mean Nightmare is a good song but it's just not the same.

Good band, I like most of their songs, except for I Won't See You Tonight Part 2, it ruins Part 1.
I actually like I Won't See You Tonight Part 2 better then Part 1.

Mike is great and all, but the rev's style just had an aura to it that made it seem more unique than other drummers.

They both have their ups and downs. :|

I like the band. Hoping the new album is better than the last, though. Not that the last was bad, but it... lacked something.

This song... reminds me so much of their pre-CoE stuff... mostly Waking The Fallen.
IT'S JUST... SO GOOD <3
The CD rocks, btw.

They are the shizz.
I don't know why, though, I have a special crush on " Afterlife".
Not because it's popular, though.

Love A7X...i felt so sad when The Rev died, but when that new album released I knew that they would carry on and never forget The Rev. its good to see Mike Portnoy helping for the drums on tour...my respect for him grew when I heard that. it was pretty funny though, I heard M.Shadows on my local rock radio station doing an interview...he talked about the nicknames for the group and said that "The Rabbi" was floating for Mike Portnoy's nickname.

The Rev was my favorite drummer ever, as well as my favorite member of A7X. Currently A7X stands in my Top 5 favorite bands.
Favorite A7X Songs: Unholy Confessions, Chapter Four, Beast and the Harlot, The Wicked End, A Little Piece of Heaven, and Crossroads (Crossroads was off the Diamonds in the Rough)
