However, they're good to relax and/or shave in since you can just sprawl out -w-
Yeah, I prefer to sit in the tub to shave my legs.
Also - am I the only one that thought it was a general fact that you shower before you bathe =\ but a lot of people are saying 'bathing is gross, it's sitting in your own filth' it just doesn't make sense why someone would bathe without washing first.
It's like wiping back to front instead of front to back <_<
I think that depends greatly on the context of the bath. If you are in the bath to relax more so than to clean yourself then yeah, it would make sense to take a quick shower before relaxing in the tub. But as a small child your parents probably bathed you in the tub until you were old enough to bathe and/or take a shower on your own.
And I wouldn't be surprised to find some people that continue to take baths like that out of habit. I took baths until I was probably eleven or twelve until I got tired of it taking so long and started taking showers out of desire or necessity.
When I was a small child my mom used this child shower thing - where it goes on the spigot and it has a little hose with a gentle spray. I remember because I used it for a while, I had this fear of the 'big girl' shower <__<
But I would sit in the tub and she'd use it and then afterwords she'd fill the tub when I was clean with bubbles so I could play.

Why do I get the feeling I'm going to get chewed out by FPOD for making Ziggy say something potentially embarrassing? >.>

Hot Baths are the fucking best, so relaxing. Showers may be more practical if pressed for time, but If there's time to spare, I'm taking a bath.

I usually have to resort to taking a shower due to time constraints, but whenever I can take a bath, I do so.

I started taking real showers around the age 8. But before that I'd sit in the tub and wash myself with that other shower thing and then take a bath.
My dad was a truck driver and he pushed me to start taking real showers because if I ever wanted to go on the road with him, I had to be able to take a shower in the truck stops.

I just shower, though i do like a nice relxing bath, but there's no bath tub in my current.Same. It's been a good year and a half since my last bath, and I am missing it badly.
I feel cleaner after a bath, mostly because I take more time to wash myself, instead of a quick 5-10 minute shower.

A Half hour shower will use less energy than it takes to fill the bath tub. According to the California Energy Commission:
It takes me about 35-40 minutes to fill our bath using the shower head, compared to the 15 minutes using the lower faucet. With an average of 15-20 minute showers, I'm happy with standing. I'm also not sitting in a pool of my own grime, which is pretty counter-productive.

I always shower except when I go to those nice hotels during my vacations to Florida where the bathtubs have water jets and jacuzzi settings and the like.

Actually, the last time I took a bath, I had an anxiety attack >__<;
I do like the thought of taking a bath with someone, though.
