Becoming a parent
Would you ever want to become a parent?

So recently I was reminiscing about a few years back, during my train of thought I remembered that a few years back I always used to proclaim that I refused to have children what-so-ever. However now that I've grown older I've noticed that the thought of having a child of my own doesn't bother me anymore.
Back then I most likely didn't enjoy the thought of having a child because I myself was a difficult child and quite a handful, not that I did bad things on purpose but I just was very hard to handle. Also since I was raised (from 8-12) in a large family and my father and stepmother having a baby every so years, I guess having experienced so many children being born during a period in my life that things were far from easy, it just somewhat left a bad impression on me.
However as I mentioned it doesn't actually bother anymore, it actually sounds really natural to me that I'd have my own child someday. It's not like I want it by all costs but I wouldn't mind it if I was ready for it (financially, mentally, all that jazz).
So my question to you is: Do you ever want to become a parent? How many children would you want? (Other details are welcomed to be shared.)

I would want 2-3 kids but knowing my families luck i will have 4 kids 3 boys 1 girl. I wouldn't mind have 2 boy and 2 girls.

Personally I'd prefer to have 1, a daughter. The reason is I guess that I still somewhat believe that if I have a son he might turn out quite like a was back when I was a lot younger, however this is just a broad assumption. Well another reason is that I seem to get along better with my sister rather then my brothers, we kinda relate better.

i don't mind having a daughter or a son.because i will love them and care for them so they're not going to repeat the same mistake that i ever done like when i were young.

I wish i could have 1-3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. that would only happen if i ever get marry. but i don't mind if boy or girl, i will love, care, and educate them so they will be a better person than i am. like my parent that care for me.

I don't want kids. I think some people aren't meant to be parents and I'm just one of them. Kids are just stressful to me. They're cute and all, but I don't think I'd be that good of a mother tbh.
It's still too early to tell, but I just don't think I'd be good enough or responsible enough.

Well that's perfectly understandable and respectable, after all there's no law that states that you HAVE to have kids. I think being a good family member (for example being a good aunt or uncle towards you sister's/brother's children) can easily be as gratifying as being a parent.

I do want to become a parent. But since I am the female half, the thought of the pain and exhaustion that comes with pregnancy scares me to death. I honestly would rather adopt.
Growing up with 7 siblings helped me confirm that I will NOT have/adopt more than 2 kids. Will. Not. My mother was a generous woman to adopt 7 kids but it's way too much work. I had to be second mother; which is not bad and I'm not saying it is but it's alot of work making bulk meals and cleaning after them and trying to convince them to do chores while mom is at work. I have some experience under my belt, so I say no more than 2 for me xP

Adopting is a very noble choice, and seeing how you have experience under your belt I'd say your fit for the job alright.

I doubt I would ever be a good parent. Who knows...
However, if I do have some, I will instruct them in metal music from an early age, so that they wont be swept by radio shit.

I want three children, a boy, a girl and a boy in that order and the first boy would be named Frederik and the girl Svenja and I guess I'll let my wife choose the last son's name.

If she's popping out kids and enduring all the pain including the nine months, not just the birth, then she damn well has a say in what they'll be named.
That is all. :]

Get Jinxed
I would like to have a child in the future, probably only one or maybe two but not three. If i'm getting two kids i would like to have some years between them so that the older can help out more and because it would be easier to take care of one kid at a time instead of two at a time. If two kids one boy and one girl, if one kid I don't know.
