@MazukiYorishimo: I definitely like her songs and voice, but it's just that I haven't heard much of her works and thus I can't consider her a candidate in terms of experience. And yes, I love this song a lot - the orchestral work and vocals are just awesome to provide a solid elegy. And I've also played this song on the violin because it's easy too but awesome all the same.
Btw, from what I listened to, the "midare yuku" is supposed to be "meware yuku", the "tsutaerunda ne" is supposed to be "tsutaerutabe", and the the "yume no" is suppposed to be "yume wo."

I will not lie, I am a grown man, who teared relentlessly at the end of kannazuki no miko, and this song made it so much sadder.
Here's the song by kotoko, who in turn became my favorite.

Ok. First of all, the band Angela scares me. Their music is decent, but visually they remind me a lot of Lady Gaga *shudders*.
Anyways, of male singers, I'd have to say Gackt is my favorite.
I'm indecisive about the female singers because THERE'S SO MANY AMAZING ONES OUT THERE!!!
Also, I recently found this one video:
The singer is French Canadian!!!
I wouldn't put her in my top five, but I must say she's impressive!
