Best Movies of 2012

Might as well do a series of these "End of 2012 threads".

I know some of these movies are complete shit but that's just opinions.

I really enjoyed Detachment but that came out in 2011 for me.

I was very impressed by the cinematography of all the films and how they related to their novels. Their powerful underlining that is expressed through the movies were enough to make me want to reread the books or just break out into song.

This year was good for action films, but the more inspirational (not sure if that is an accurate word to describe) films seemed to fair well. They made me leave the theater inspired.

Django and Cabin in the Woods where the last 2 movies I didn't either hate or walk away saying "Meh....whatever..." to.

I love spaghetti western so Django is an easy pick for me. Argo is pretty good too

The Expendables 2, The amazing Spiderman, The Avengers and Dredd was the best movies I've seen in 2012~

I believe that's it, though I know there's more. I just can't think of them.

I have only seen three of those movies on the list (Dark Knight, Reunion, and SpiderMan), but I would have to go with The End of Watch. That was a really good movie. I would like to see it again.

Ive only seen the Hobbit and Prometheus (which I watched with GreenZero). Have to say the Hobbit was the better of those too, some others dont seem to like it, but I loved the hobbit.

I also watched the Dark Knight Rises, but that is a shambling reck of a movie which I personally would nominate for worst movie of the year. :I

I had to say Men In Black 3, others were ok but somehow Men In Black 3 sticks out more than the others. Atleast that's what I think.

It was a pretty good year for movies :).

I feel like I missed a lot of good movies this year. Out of the ones I watched, Looper is easily my favorite. The Hobbit is in a second. Gotta catch up, le sigh.

Cabin in the Woods and Lincoln were my favorites of the year. Maybe the avengers and the hobbit as honorable mentions.

I liked the last Batman movie, and the Hobbit was okay [I walked out of it feeling slightly disappointed, not even sure why though]. Really want to see Django, looks like an awesome movie. As far as favorites go? None really struck me as 'omg, must own this movie.'

I don't go out and see movies much, but I'm a big fan of Marvel so definitely The Avengers. The Dark Knight Rises was also a great movie, and I have yet to see the Hobbit which is really the only other thing for me right now.

liked MIBIII but i still need to watch the Dark Knight Rises and Spider-Man(new one)[*sudden realization* that was really obvious that it was the new one...]
