Best place to put lyric tattoos?
0
I figured I'd ask all of your for some ideas. I plan to get a tattoo with lyrics from a part of a song (of course)...but I can not, for the life of me, figure out where I could put said lyrics where it would still look good.
Suggestions?
For a side note, I'm already getting one on my right outer thigh, inner wrist, and upper back...so those are all taken.

Put it near your waist, so when a girl is sucking your dick she has something to read.

Rule 30.
Also that is such a lame idea.

Yes, lyrics can be a lame idea. But not unless you put thought into it, they have strong meaning to you, and don't look tacky.
I guess its my bad for asking advice about this in a forum like this.

I'd say it depends on how long the lyrics in question are, is it just a part of the lyrics? Or a whole song?
If it's just a small part, like a sentence or two I'd say you should put it on the back of your shoulder or on one side of your chest.
A whole song will probably not end up looking good, to much text just makes it look clotted.

Well, of course I don't plan to get full lyrics...that'd be insane.
And I already plan for my shoulderblades to be preoccupied by another tattoo in due time.
The lyrics aren't picked out for sure yet.
I'm giving myself sometime to think about it. But I want to know of a good place as soon as possible, so its less to worry about.
I think I either want:
"Breathe in
And let the air envelope you
And slow but sure, serenity will come"
Or:
"Close your eyes
Try to breathe
Feel the ground beneath your feet"
But that could still change...as you can see, I don't want them to be too long.

Try Sharpie-ing them on your skin in any place you'd think of getting a tat.
Keep that up for a month.
If you still want them after that, get it I guess.

well I for one think you shouldnt get a tattoo. Not that there is anything wrong with it,just that well I dont think lyrics makes good tattoos considering the ink will fade etc over the years.

I really don't care. If I change my mind, I have plenty of time to do so. I have 2 other tattoos planned before this one.
I was just asking for suggestions on areas to get it.
