It's a private organization. No tax dollars go in or out of the foundation.

A while ago our store had a Make a Wish boy there, and he was in this limo with some celebrity (I was off of work that day so I missed it ): ) and he got to go into the store and pick out anything he wanted. So he got a PS3, a bunch of games, and a ton of other stuff ;p
They rolled out the red carpet, etc for him.

Thats really cool some people did tht for that kid must have made his life a bit better...I wonder though how it would be if some other kid had a terminal sickness and died before the gift/trip/wish right after they planned everything out.

Actually this isn't the first time they did this, they used the superhero thing before. They have been on a smaller scale though, but they probably knew how to pull this off since they have had the practice putting these together in the past.
