yep singapore sure has a lot of these bubble tea shops.
It used to be really popular but died down about 2 years ago.
Now only certain brands like SweetTalk remain due to loyal customers.
Oh and btw my favourite is milo ice blended

I never thought there was such thing as a bad bubble tea flavor, but I guess I was wrong. The day I bought an extra large cup was the day I HAD to try guava flavor. Fucking gross, LOL. :(

Yes! Lychee Ice Blend please!
I'm from Singapore as well and its my favorite drink. Though I prefer jelly over the normal pearls. The ones near my place and school serve crappy pearls that are extremely sticky.

To drink bubble tea, you have to go to Taiwan. Where it was bloody invented.
But Southeast Asia is fine too.
Everytime I go back, they put those "bubbles" in even more drinks, creating wonders like Bubble Passionfruit-Tea with those chewy coconut things and grapefruit shreds.
And just to clarify Boba does not equal bubble.
Its just the "largest type" and has a unique name, directly translated from chinese means "large breasts". So really, don't go yelling out your passion for Boba in Mandarin speaking areas.
I prefer small bubbles, with green milk tea. Contrary to my original belief, it was really good.

damn right durian is the best. just a little training to stand the smell and you've the chance to eat the best fruit ever.
heck, even if it's juiced or ice-creamed, it still rules!

I have brought one last week and it kind of weird. I wasn't able to finish cause a bug flew inro my drink ( the lady told me they rain out of tops that day ). I might would try it again later in the future. If anyone live in NC want to try it out go to frankin street right next to UNC chapel hill campus.

It is the only drink I ever consider, though that may be biased since I'm Asian and live in an Asian community.
I generally prefer boba teas(especially w/ milk and other flavors) over the slush and I always try new flavors. It was the opposite when I was a kid, I was always drinking fruit slushes. Whether it was mango or Durian ❤
While the boba balls themselves are delicious, I like how shops always have other options to the tapioca balls.
My childhood fav: the coconut jellies! Now I prefer the egg puddings :P yummy. ...Darn! Now I want a Taro Milk tea T_T

Was just browsing the forums and I saw this, now I'm thinking of stopping by the bubble tea stand by my work.
I typically get mango or taro, but thinking if coconut is worth it or not.

I love boba/bubble tea/tapioca pearls/whatever the fuck you wanna call them. I generally drink the boba teas, not the fruity ones, because I really don't like fruit slushies in general anyway. I do also like the grass jelly or pudding varieties as well, depending on the combination. Taro milk tea slush + chocolate pudding = win!

I love living in SoCal, because there's so many tea shops to choose from! I usually end up getting Milk Tea.
