Buying your first doujin

For anyone who's ever bought a hentai doujin at a convention, what was it like for you? I felt all warm and fuzzy inside when I bought my first today. It's a collection of Nise Midi's work. SCORE. =u=

I don't normally buy much at cons. Mostly food and shirts.

Haven't got my hands on one.

No one sells one here.

I'm not aware of doujin's being sold here either. Although I'm VERY excited for Velvet Kiss in a few months

No i haven't bought any hentai at all till now, i'll try to change this fact in the future :P

Why buy doujins when there's Fakku? O.O

Really though why?

When I visited my first con I didn't plan on buying any, but when I was browsing them I found doujins made by one of my favorite artist, I just got that irresistable urge to buy.

I kinda felt happy when I bought them.

I have two storage bins of comiket and other doujins, ero manga and fapstorepron.

I feel like I should setup a fakku stall at the next aicon... it is a pg event though >.>
Sell t-shirts, manga, dvd's, etc.. But it'd be expensive lol.

Some of us want physical copies of our favorite mangas and doujinishis. In a way it supports the artist and vendors. Motivates them to create more content.

Makes sense. So then could I find some of the artists works on Fakku at conventions? And I guess support my favorite ones?

I have 6 real doujinshi and some that I printed off, as well as a bunch of hentai manga of which I am building up my collection of. I also own a Nise Midi Doronokai hentai collection book; I have the 2006-2009 one.

As for my first purchase, I bought 3 at once and got a free one. One of them is an iDOLM@STER doujinshi.

I bought one book from Fakku and some English hentai volumes from Amazon... ;w; Glad to support the artists I love!

I wish i could buy a Doujin but all the doujins i want to own and not for sell (i.e. Nozoki Ana)

I actually bought an H-manga at Anime Expo from surprise surprise the J-List booth, I flipped through it real quick, liked what I saw and told the guy behind the counter "I'd like to buy this". Bought it, put it away in my loot bag, read it later, not a single fuck was given that day. so yeah it was fun

I bought Slut Girl off one of the adult booths at the expo, felt normal. Of course, I'm picky since I want a good number of pages for a reasonable price, I don't want 20 pages for $15-20 for example, unless it's full color. Even then, I have to know what's inside or get a good view of the pictures, which thankfully, the vendors do.

Bought my first in Akiba in a H-store so it wasn't that bad. Later I bought them beauties like I was buying my morning bread. You just hope you don't get busted when going through customs at the airport hahaha.

I always go overboard and spend hundreds of dollars on doujins at conventions.

I buy them.
I read them.
Then I put them on a shelf and check out Fakku.
