so...i have a corner in my place where alot of freaky things are going on...a candle melting at the base that has never been lit when it's below freezing outside, my satellite programed clock going crazy and switching to different times through out the day...all of which are wrong...my home phone dropping calls every time i go into that corner, ect. and i have no explanation what so ever for why it's happening. does anyone have any idea as to an explanation for this?

You're missing a large amount of information, such as 1) is it on the second floor, first floor, or basement, 2) How old is your house, 3) are there windows nearby, etc.

I know nothing about that candle shit, and the clock malfunction isn't even paranormal, just have someone check it out, but the phone call dropping sounds like confirmation bias. Are you sure that your call is dropped every single time you go into that corner? How long are you going to stand in that corner expecting for it to be dropped? Has it ever happened somewhere outside that corner?
Shit, maybe the cold weather is responsible for the last two. I can only speculate of course, and I would advise you have a professional check that shit out.
I just hope you don't look for bullshit paranormal explanations.

To be perfectly and quite strictly honest, I would have to assume that most of these things that are 'creeping you out' are simply things that can be explained by things much less than paranormal. However, looking at it from another perspective, it is quite odd that many such things are happening in only one corner of the residence.
The candle you mentioned, however, stole my interest. Perhaps more information on this, if you'd be so kind? Something melting at below freezing temperatures does indeed seem odd.
Though, I believe for the most part, I must agree with Rbz and stress that you do not try and convince yourself of 'strange paranormal happenings' as your mind is more likely to begin 'tricking' you into easier and easier belief in such a theory.

the candle is actaully what creeped me out the most...it's a huge (about one foot tall) wax candle that is decoratively carved (and from hallmark) it itself is older then i am (so over 21 years old)....all i can really tell you is that it was sitting out of sunlight in winter tempatures (under freezing point) and on a ceramic candle base. nothing really out of the ordninary except this all seemed to happen at once...the candle base itself was made out of clay. part of the candle melted on the base (now it's lop sided and won't sit on the base.) this lacks any explanation to me since it wasn't near any heat source in my house. if any of that helped with an explanation let me know...persoanlly i thought maybe it had something to do with electricty or magnetism (i straying lightning bolt sounds more likely then much else at this point)

Hmm. As for the clock, and phone; Since the house is kinda old(er) you could have some electrical current malfunctioning, interfering and screwing with the signal/programming of the clock and phone. I'd get an EMF reader, and see if you get any signs of EMF. This could cause such things.
As for the candle; Do the windows block out the cold? Also, if it was sunny, maybe the sun it the window, and the heat hit the candle, causing it to melt. Since the Candle is old, it could've caused it to melt even faster, and maybe that corner is a hot spot due to a number of reasons.
Just trying out some theories here.

try taking a magnetic compass to the spot and see what the needle does before paying some one to check it out.
