Cell Phone Etiquette
Do you think that cell phone etiquette exists?

Personally, my cellphone is just for waking me up in the morning and making me sleep at night(classical music), so I hate people that show off their annoyingly noisy cellphones.

I think the cell phones just make an already rude person more obvious. as someone who had manners beaten in to them at a young age, i see rude people all the time and it makes me want to hit them and say, "NO!".
i believe it's part of a growing trend of lax parenting. no one hits their kids anymore. i remember the good old days, when i gladly gave my belt for an especialy out of hand child. it is truely a thing of beauty to see a mother expertly weild a leather belt in the name of disapline.
don't get me wrong, i'm not saying child abuse is O.K., but some kids need a good smack now and then. i know i'm a better person for it.

I hate cellphone by default because there are too much people here whose get addicted by his/her cellphone ..
and the worst of it , they claim that they are cool ..
Not realize that they just following trend .. and not realize that they are lame .. very cool indeed
What annoys me the most is when he/she texting while talking to me ... feel like ignored and manner-less ..
Like your list .. i just hope people to go by the etiquette ..

I work in a shop and I hate it when a customer expects me to serve them whilst they are on the phone. Depending on which management staff are in I do one of three things. 1. Stand there and refuse to serve them until they get off the phone whilst glaring at them as if to say "What the fuck" < only when Manager is in the back.
2. Serve them but refuse to speak a word to them or look them in the eyes and purposely put any change on the counter and not their hand. < what I do most of the time.
3. Ask them a million work related questions and keep bugging them until they hang up and give me their attention.
I did this once and the guy I was serving had the nerve to tell me to "please be quiet whilst he was on the phone" I told him to "please dont bother coming to the till if he's not ready and please not bother to come again if he can't muster some common courtesy" He looked really embarrassed after that.
Oh, Another thing that annoys me is when the customer rings someone about a question or what ever, then just hands the phone to me so that I have to deal with them. I find it very awkward and confusing to have a phone randomly thrust at me when I have no ideas whats going on. < This tactic is most commonly used by parents or grandparents who just don't have a clue.
I work in a coffee shop and you are my new hero. I always just got mad and would walk away from the counter. But now I know how what to do so I wont get fired.

6 and 10 are the most important to me. My friend does this very often and I tend to to stop talking and just leave once he starts. However, if it is urgent or something that's quick. of course it's allowed. It is all based on circumstance.

"Yeah hey babe. Yeah I'm on public transit but I don't mind talking. Yeah you know I'm gonna wear that ass out when I get back...wait what did Dustin say. yeah to tell that nigga not to be talkin' so much unless he wants his ass whupped... [Not kidding whupped in spelling in pronunciation, so glad this man is breeding] So you got the weed? Good yeah babe I'll be home in...Hey you in the front Shut the fuck up this is America I can talk on the phone if I want to."

Every single time I see people texting/Talking on there phones when driving. When I see it I want to walk up to there car, break the windows in, grab there phone and smash it on the ground. Then this:

Now I know why my friends use "txt language". Because if they do, it gets the fucking text message over with so they can spend quality time IRL.

Lol as a former Cashier I must admit I grew to hate cell phones. When ever I'd tell them something they'd say to me "excuse me just a second" then the line would grow bigger and the rest of the customers got mad at me even though the person was on the cell phone.QFT!
I hated dealing with people like that, or if they are all ignorant about it and their all like "Your not very talkative cashier". HELLO?! I see your on the phone? why the hell would I talk to you?!
